Long time no see! My wife, of all people, wants something “loud and fast” and wants a Charger or Grand Cherokee SRT. Probably going to get one once the other 2 cars are paid off assuming the other 2 don’t completely fall apart.

What's the budget? I've been out of state hunting and having thanksgiving stuffs! I also tend to rotate between forums. Get a new car...car forum...buy a new suppressor...gun forum, etc. Cyclical and all. Keep mahself entertained!

It won’t be happening anytime soon... once the kids are out of elementary school we’ll start looking for one. I’ve given up Facebook, definitely needing something other than YouTube and BITOG to keep me entertained!

Your post has me thinking about this again.

Didn't you just do a bunch of suspension upgrades on her Passat?
...or would this be in addition to her Passat?

Wonderful choice indeed!

It's a real thrill to custom order a brand new car, and even better if it's an SRT vehicle. I wonder if they still put "Specially built for..." on the window sticker?

As stated earlier, it's quite an endorsement of the model, and I know you'll love it.

Congrats on the ride, absolutely love that configuration! I had a Challenger Scatpack and miss the 6.4/8spd combo, simply awesome.

Cool deal ordering just what you want. All black with an extra helping of black is braver than I though.

And to the potential moral hand wringing your dealer knows the story of the '16 GC and what he does with it is none of your concern.

Very nice and congrats thumbsup

I remember your accident thread and wanting to trade in the 16. Good to see you could order exactly what you wanted.

Dude, you got a steal on the SRT - which is something that's normally not discounted in my area.

And you probably became a customer for life of that dealership, or as long as your friend works there.

Well, he owns the place, so I expect that things will be good for as long as he does wink And yeah, they aren't normally discounted, which is why he made it a point to mention it to me. It was significantly cheaper to build a new 2020 than to buy a 2019, despite them being cleared out.
