Just an FYI for folks that perhaps install a lot of OS's at home, there's a free utility that's basically a drop-in PXE boot server that you can serve up basically any OS from.

I have it running in a VM on my Mac Pro to serve up a few Linux flavours for install. It's pretty easy to get going and it's a lot faster than using DVD's and easier than USB sticks which can be hard to boot on some systems.
 
I haven't played with *nix in a while but this looks interesting. Perhaps, will give FreeBSD a try, time allowing.

Yep, exactly! This is insanely lightweight and pretty easy to configure. I use SCCM at work, but for tossing rigs on the bench and loading an OS? This is WAY more convenient.
