It is on sale cyber Monday on Amazon for $19.98. Figures since I paid full price this summer. I should have waited. LOL

Saw it on BF for $18 and change. Decided to pass based on mixed reviews on inconsistent performance.

I think Big River is subsidising these to push their Key delivery service for Prime members. They can open your GD via the MyQ for package delivery, if enabled on your account. Another way to combat porch pirates and make you more comfortable with ordering more stuff

Thanks; our garage door opener is a Chamberlain so I am used to MyQ.
I had no idea it could be used on older style openers.
This will be perfect for our Petaluma home!

I had a Chamberlain opener with MyQ installed recently but haven’t enabled the WiFi yet, and probably won’t.

I like it for several reasons:

1) I can open the garage door remotely for someone if I need to.
2) I can get alerts when the door is opened/closed.
3) I can set it to automatically close at a certain time, which is handy if I forget to close it at night. For example, I have mine set to close at 11pm every night. It has kicked in once or twice in the month I've had it when I forgot to close it before bed.

I have one that Chamberlain sent me for free (whole new garage door opener with myq) because we bought a new keypad for the 27 year old unit and it would open and close by itself.

I called their customer support to try to fix it, there is no proximity sensors on the old unit. They said we can't fix the issue with the keypad, so we're going to send you a new garage door opener for free.

Must be some kind of silent recall. Great customer service. It came within 4 days, free install but the father in law. Works great. I recommend this company.
