I have a 2017 Hyundai Elantra with base 195/65/15 tires on steel rims. I found on Craigslist 2013 OEM alloy rims for Elantra size 205/55/16 complete with tires and tmps sensors. Will they fit? I just want to put them on with no headaches.

Are you asking a bolt pattern question?

Or a tire size question?

The tires will be about an inch shorter
overall. About a 5% difference in diameter, speedometer reading, etc.

A bolt pattern question. From what I know there is no difference between the two years but the body style update and interior update also new engine. Is it just put the rims on and drive?

Astro I think you forgot the 55 series would be upped to a 16"

So they will be basically the same O.D and circ.

I also looked at a set of Avid Ascend and the reported Diameter diff for actual tire was only 0.1" shorter than current.
And that within the tire wear range - so not noticeable.

Does the OP know if they have a 5 lug pattern and what the bolt circle is?

And TPMS tech may be a concern.

Sounds like its time to join an Elantra Forum

There both 5 bolt pattern. I'm thinking is a slap on and drive. The bigger tire size and rim was OE if you went up one trim level

You're right, absolutely missed the 16".

So...same diameter, a standard +1 set up.

Only question then, is TPMS and, perhaps, bolt pattern...
