I Found The Perfect Garage Door Oil

I was always told to use non detergent 30W.

That Sommer door opener looks interesting.

I gotta get out more. I live maybe 20-25 miles from the address on the bottle. Never heard of Mac's!

In regards to the comments on garage door lube. I too have had door techs recommend nothing but silicone spray lube. I'm sure they recommend that because the stuff is about worthless as a long term lube, but it won't hurt anything and it gives the homeowner a warm-n-fuzzy. I know if I greased up the works on my door bits, it's going to turn into a gritty, abrasive mess.

Nothing against "silicone spray", but I them more as a cleaner than anything.

If you're having issues with your patio door you probably need new rollers. Don't know anything about garage doors, though but I've been through the sliding door issues.

I use PB blaster GDL garage door lube as my first choice and the 3-in-one garage door spray as my second choice.

Got mine from Overhead door. I suspect it’s silicone with Teflon ( or equivalent). Someone was repackaging the product with an Overhead Door label with the addresses of the local shops on the back.
