Eggnog

No recipe, but I recently had an Eggnog milkshake and it knocked me out of commission for the rest of the day. Not sure if it was the sugar or the fat but I was left in a stupor from 4PM onwards.

Eggnog with Vanilla or Salted Caramel Crown....add in some cinnamon, fresh nutmeg, and allspice.

Are you planning on making it from scratch?

I'd suspect that was the intent.

Can't say I've ever had from scratch eggnog. Maybe once or twice.

I love the store bought stuff, despite how bad it likely is for you with all the fat and sugar in one. Gone are the days where people perhaps needed that due to drafty, cold homes.

I can only imagine the homemade stuff, if raw egg isn't an issue, is better...

For me eggnog is like liver. I wish I liked it because I like the look of it. Too, too thick, sweet and cloying for me.

I hope you find a recipe. Nothing like fresh ANYTHING.

I do to but had to stop drinking it since my Gall Bladder surgery 2 years ago.

Store bought. Shake the bottle, hopefully it's thick.

Definitely store bought. You can buy small bottles as well so in case you don't like it there is not much waste.

It doesn't have to be hard either. A lot of good eggnog is non alcoholic.
