I'm aware this is a new engine, and not a Honda or Toyota, but those numbers seem high for a modern engine.

I'd try a 0W-40, or 5W-40 to see if numbers go down. I think a 40-weight is allowed, no?

No sir, just 0w-30. You may be thinking of the 2.9L in the Quadrifoglio which specs a 5w-40.

This is ACEA C2, C3 . 40 grade would likely do nothing here where it counts.

I'd just wait till next UOA and go from there.
Obtaining V8 power from a 4 cylinder give near V8 wear numbers**.

**I have not actually collected this data - but it sounds like a good repeatable quote!
