Wiring diagram:

[Linked Image from fototime.com]

Using the pink wire in the 5 pin connector to the negative terminal of the buzzer to make a chirp when locking and unlocking. Not using the horn or a relay. The other terminal to the buzzer is a constant 12V+. Do I need a fuse on that wire? Or I guess I could tap into an already fused circuit.

The red wire needs a fuse or connected to a fused circuit.

Most people get one of these that includes a remote start.

Make sure all your connections are done properly. Solder is good. No wire nuts. Crimp connectors sealed with liquid tape.

^ +1. Yes, the buzzer needs to be fused. The red wire in the diagram needs to be fused anyway, so you can just tap into that wire to also feed the buzzer.

BTW, what is the make and model of this system? I'm interested in installing one on my car.

I bought it years ago on Ebay. Something like https://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Keyles...9721781033266e498d6f4f45937adfb252501d72 but mine has flip key remotes so no need for separate key and remote.
