If the rust is under control, I agree, that is a $3000 car MINIMUM around my neck of the woods. Reasonable miles and looks to be in decent shape.

Great price assuming it's rust free. Around here that would easily cost $3k

To be fair, it's NOT rust free. The body is relatively clean, there's two half dollar size rust spots on the rear quarters. The underside is decent, the pinch welds are all solid, but there is a decent amount of surface rust from sitting. It was a second car for the PO and didn't get used much.

what does the subframe/body look like underneath.. they are all rotted out in my area. takes the car off the road.

Subframe and all that is in great shape. It's just surface rust.

Private party value is $3500+ here. That sounds low to me. I bet it would fetch $5 k all day long here.

Im sure you can find some pretty rust free examples in cali. 5k seems high
