My take from this is that the OE pads are the best for street driving.

I was also surprised at the corrosion resistance of OE pads.

This agrees with my single sample experience with those 'break-in coated' pads from merry old England.

I want pads that produce maximum braking force when cold, since I've never been on a track, and there aren't any winding roads around here.

I have uBlock Origin, I don't see either side column.

But thanks, I won't waste any more time trying to help y'all out.

Discouraging you was not my intention, but if that's how you took it, I can hardly be to blame. Also, the side column is super handy. If you can, configure your add-on to allow it.
