How much is this about to cost me?

Sometimes being a good DIY'er is knowing when its time to call in the pro's. Some jobs just arent worth the grief.

I'd figure on 2-3x that cost once you factor in a new serp belt and any other worn idler or tensioner.

I used to buy a service manual for each of my cars just to be able to decide which jobs were within my skill set and which jobs required a pro. Also helps with having a somewhat knowledgeable discussion with your mechanic about the work to be done.
