Fat bike tires...on cars?!

With all the excitement of fat bicycle tires on bicycles especially in this thread:

Has anyone considered applying the idea to cars?

I think there could be serious benefits to this setup.
Wonder why they never came up with this earlier?

Well, I think I've seen a Pilot Sport PS2 or a P Zero used on the back of a chopper. The special Bridgestone Ecopia on the BMW i3 does look like a bike tire...
