Mid saps sacrifices the engine for the DPF?

Oh, and whilst we're here, I'll play a broken record of mine:

- it's Noack, not NOACK
- it's phosphorus, not phosphorous.

At the time Volvo was a part of Ford who were specifying WSS-M2C-913B/C/D which were also one-size-fits all going into diesels with DPF's. Didn't seem to cause any issues.

I'm running a VAG 504/507 in my Volvo that requires a 0w20 RBSO-2AE.

Good point (although the ACEA spec requirement was after Volvo split from Ford PAG - they moved to ACEA to avoid having a Ford spec whilst they developed their own, whereas JLR maintained the Ford spec until they had their own).
