The 2019 models gotta go.

Why buy used when your $25K just might buy new?

The RAV4 is nice; I prefer the CR-V.
Go drive 'em all.

Good luck; this is a great time to buy.

You are so right with 2020 models arriving should be some good deals on 19's
Thanks for your info ðŸ‘

I don't see that price happening unless you qualify for every conceivable incentive and rebate offered on them.

I just bought a 2019 CR-V, EXL 2wd; it was around $28K + tax and licence.
I would try for a EX 2wd for $25K, maybe better.
You will get something for your trade.
Call and ask for fleet sales, or internet sales. Play the dealers off each other.
Tell them you are contacting all the dealers; they know who offers the best prices and waht they have to do to earn your business.
Good luck and have fun with it.

All these threads of someone asking recommendations for buying a car always turn into people posting their personal opinions of what car THEY would buy or bashing cars based on nothing but the internet effect.

What the [censored] else are we supposed to do? Recommend a vehicle I wouldn't buy?

+1

sometime that $$$ you save upfront you lose at the end; something to consider 100%

I'd add Subaru to the list as well

for USED i say Land Rover Discovery sport, it has the ford ecoboost engine and pretty nice interior for a depreciated price. If fuel economy is of little concern, a Land Rover LR4 2013+ 5.0 V8. These two are not bad on reliability and quite luxurious for the cost.

I also say just buy a 2019 Tiguan brand new if you like what the base model does for you.

Just located a 2017 Lincoln MKC Reserve
13,000 miles
$22,500

Very nice for the money ðŸ‘

Which one holds it's value the best?
Over time, that speaks the loudest to me.

I bought the CR-V over the RAV4 because of interior space, ergonomics and driving experience.
It just seemed like the better vehicle to me.

As others have said, drive everything.
It's your money and you gotta live with it.

Good luck; car buying is fun!

I test drove a Rav4 LE hybrid today. Comfortable and roomy. Very numb. And that's me coming from a Camry. The CVT was very smooth. Steering was a little weird. Might have been the safety feature trying to override me.

The Camry TRD was really nice except for the spoiler. Please, no spoilers on a Camry.
