Need steering box and pump

I am looking to replace my steering box and power steering pump in my 1970 Chevelle SS 396. I would like to go with a better ratio if possible and have no problems saving the old OEM units and replacing with new/rebuilt. I would like to do direct fit if possible. Any ideas?

a general search or Chevelle forum will show many, as GM A body parts aftermarket are many, depends as usual $$$$$ your willing to spend

TurnOne Steering They make some of the best steering boxes and pumps around.

I'll second Turn One. Not inexpensive, but experts usually don't come cheap.

They're semi-local to me and they worked through some steering issues on my 4th gen Camaro. Nice guys to work with and they do know GM steering systems.

Or CPP I have used their 500 box on c10's with good success
