This run was 4k miles and 6 months it had a mix of highway and a lot of short trips on Pennzoil Platinum 5W30. Also pictured is the filter a Motorcraft FL2062. The truck is 400 miles short of 75k.

Looks good and so does the filter. Check or change your air filter. Should be 8 or 12 people following this post to tell you you could have gone 7500 to 10k miles and that you dumped it too soon, and how much of your money your wasting them and what not. And this post will be moved to the correct thread shortly. gladiator

Probably hahaha. 🤷‍♂️ I got the oil on clearance for $5 a 5qt jug and don't feel bad about it! This is the first time in it's life that it's sat for weeks at a time so I thought I'd see how the oil did.

GaryPoe, you said "air filter", you know that little bit of silicon is in the anti-foam additive, and nowhere near excessive. You have to be above 20 ppm silicon to say the air filter needs a look.
Filter is fine. I'd maybe recommend the WSS-M2C946-B1 or dexos1 oil, not the old-formula Platinum here which has high calcium. Your chances of LSPI destroying a piston might be slim though! Ford & GM are mostly the only ones who worry about that.
