Nokian Entyre 2.0

Not to hijack someones thread but it is related!

I have just installed a brand new set of Nokian eNTYRE 2.0s on our Jetta. Quiet! Smooth. Easy rolling.

Night and day compared to the old tires and feels like riding on air. Admittedly probably would have been true of most new tires compared to the original Continentals that were on their way out in treadlife, unbalanced, and out of alignment - but nevertheless a nice feel.

Will plan to report back as the miles increase but so far these Nokians ride quite fine.

I have regular Entyres, not the 2.0. I think they're excellent.

Quick update. Almost 10K in on the Nokian eNTYRE 2.0s. Still a phenomenal ride. Have made a long east cost sojourn on them this summer and they were a pleasure on the highway. Been getting some rainy/windy weather the last couple days in Boston and never had a worry. Confident in their grip, and the Jetta feels planted.

The real test is yet to come with winter around the corner and additional wear but so far, so good.

Is that made in Russia? They did in the past, maybe now still. Hakkapellitas too. Its the only thing that stopped me from choosing them a couple of years ago when tire shopping.

Yes. They are made in Russia and will shift to new US plant in 2020 I believe.
