2018 Honda Civic SI 6 Speed Manual Transaxle
11,635 on oil - Redline MTL
18,285 on unit

Note: BL is the virgin sample

Note: First and second fluid changes were done nearly back to back so there shouldn't be too much residual silicon at this point.

I think all the silicon is harmless and contained in the oil and not a contaminant.
The aluminum and iron are probably still just washing out or break in.
With Honda MTF starting at 7.5 Cst and shearing down I think you could easily run this oil for 25-30K.
Is it harder to shift in the cold?
Is this 75W90? It says 75W80 in the report is that a typo?
Did you do any analysis of the factory fill with 6k on it?

Car shifts perfectly fine.

The older Honda MTF had a similar viscosity to the Redline MTL so there really isn't that much of a difference.

The Redline is a 75W80.

If your going to track it or mash gears in the summer some use MT90 redline gl4 or mix MTL and MT90. Call Dave at Redline if you have any questions.
