Been talked to death on here.

But what car man? Flying Saucer landing gear lube?

75W-90 Synthetic is great for light duty diffs.

Last qt I bought was like $5.88

I run it in the Subaru and Nissan rear diff with no issue other than IMPROVED operation.

I dont recall LS compatibility w/o friction mod additive

Warren makes good stuff, under many different private labels, I wouldn't hesitate to use ANYTHING they make, whether it has an ST label, or Mag1, or any other name!

FWIW, drained the transaxle in my high hours John Deere 216 (vintage) lawn tractor and refilled it with ST 75-90 gear lube. Had a small leak before the drain/refill.

Leak stopped!

I use it in all my diffs. Using the syn 75w-140. Seems better than the M1 75w-90 it replaced.
From another thread I posted.

Thanks for organizing that data. Very useful. That conventional 75w140 might be a bit harsh for the -35 C mornings in Saskatchewan this winter.

ST synthetic does contain LS additive per email with Warren Distribution:

"Gary,

You asked about Supertech Gear Oils. They do contain friction modifier which makes them limited slip ready.

Yes, it is high but most conv W140's I've checked are 250 or higher.
