Posts: 13,597, one of my news sites for all things auto racing, had a quick sponsored article about Motul 300V. I had never known where the name came from! (in honor of their 300th victory)

They claim Motul had the worlds first multi-grade oil. Kendall and Amalie had a multi-grade in 1953, and Motul did too, so it comes down to which month and day each went on the shelves.

All I ever use to evaluate an oil is how the last sump-full of it treated my engine. What have you done for me lately, who cares about 1953?

De omnibus dubitandum.
