Oh Lahwdy!

I was visiting a Chevy dealer and a Cruze had a mouse nest in the engine air filter housing that packed the whole thing full.

At par with the very worst I've ever seen. However, you can still see the pleats in the media.

The "How'd we ever live before pollen filters" crowd might skip this one.

Where in Jersey do these cars live?

South Jersey 08021
I own a Quick Lube. (Flame suit on) 35 in the biz 21 years at this location.
Just picked up a filter cutter.
I'll post some 40k OCIs for you guys.(40k 60 month OCI today on a Ford 500) .
Our filter and reminder sticker in the window.
Gotta go blow some engines and strip some drain plugs.
See you soon!

Don't those Lexii have a screened air intake to keep the big pieces from reaching the filter? My humble Toyota does.

I see South Jersey has maple trees. (I know North Jersey does, because I lived there.)

lol I have no problem with the good lube shops. The local TV investigative news checked out quickie lube type places a couple of years ago. They had to go to many before they had a problem. They did have the decency to list the good ones. The one bad one, though, was a doozy, and made for some great TV.

I have an older friend, never one to work on cars much and now unable to, takes all his vehicles to the local Jiffy Lube every 3K miles like clockwork. He gets 250K miles or more out of every vehicle, and he had a bunch of vehicles, had a heck of a commute.

I look forward to more of your posts.

I use the Prime Guard or Service Champ brand filters (mostly).
China products but, IMO, of good quality.
We charge $19.99 for most (installed). Sell +/- 1000 units annually.
My reminder sticker printer bit the dust yesterday.
I had a brand new, in the box, replacement.
When the box was opened it was the wrong printer. Ughhh.
The company I bought from (08/18) will not help as it's been over 1 year.
It was their mistake as I ordered a DBT42 and they sent me a DBT24.
I never thought to open the box. Looks like 2 new printers at $5-600 a piece.
Trying to crazy glue the broken plastic guide at 6 am. Then off to the web for
2 printers unless I am confident in my repair on the broken one.

Thanks for the kind replies.
I'm off to install wrong filters and ATF types.
See you soon.
God Bless America

Just curious who's the maker of your printer? They have some pretty good printers these days for cheap. Its not like you're doing an astronomical amount of printing on labels.

For the amount these companies charge you per gallon of ink yes they could give you the printer for free.

Converting Metric to standard for a more conventional approach means 1 gallon is equal to 3785 ML. That said 1 Gallon of HP ink is worth approximately $3,482. Using this same formula for our Supplies Outlet HP 564 cartridge costing $6.99, we can factor $2208 is the average cost per gallon of compatible ink. Feb 6, 2014

LOL well they are sure proud of that little beauty. For that kind of money you'd think they have a desire to retain a happy customer.
It looks like there are lots of available alternatives available for less than 40% of what that things going for.
