Oh Lahwdy!

I was visiting a Chevy dealer and a Cruze had a mouse nest in the engine air filter housing that packed the whole thing full.

At par with the very worst I've ever seen. However, you can still see the pleats in the media.

The "How'd we ever live before pollen filters" crowd might skip this one.

Where in Jersey do these cars live?

Another low maintenance Lexus.

Don't those Lexii have a screened air intake to keep the big pieces from reaching the filter? My humble Toyota does.

I see South Jersey has maple trees. (I know North Jersey does, because I lived there.)

Those are two well used filters! What brand of CAF did you replace them with?

lol I have no problem with the good lube shops. The local TV investigative news checked out quickie lube type places a couple of years ago. They had to go to many before they had a problem. They did have the decency to list the good ones. The one bad one, though, was a doozy, and made for some great TV.

I have an older friend, never one to work on cars much and now unable to, takes all his vehicles to the local Jiffy Lube every 3K miles like clockwork. He gets 250K miles or more out of every vehicle, and he had a bunch of vehicles, had a heck of a commute.

I look forward to more of your posts.
