hi yall,
question about the a5spec,
is it better in fuel economy than the sn,dexos1 gen 2 specs?
both in 5w30.
changed from an a5 oil with 2.9hths to a sn,d1g2 with a 3.3hths and my fuel consumption went up slightly,is it due to the spec or hths?

if u dont mind me asking while we are on the hths subject,
hths is as for high revving engines,towing,engines that work hard ex or for hot climate environment?

It is for all of the above. I've never been to the Middle East, but if it gets as hot as I hear, too thick is probably a good thing there!

And A5 spec 5w30 will work perfectly in your CX-5 in your climate. Assuming it is the 2.5DI?

yes its a n.a skyactive engine,
the motul seems to warm up faster and to be a bit smoother in idle,even tho the castrol was good also.
