Is Shell Mysella S2 N40 compatible with a 24v 5.9 Cummins or a Duramax? Was told it's a no ash 40 weight and would work great. Would like more credible opinions. Thanks in advance.

According to Shell:

Shell Mysella S2 N 40 is an oil blended for use in 4-stroke, spark-ignition engines which require a 'low ash' oil and use natural gas as fuel.

I'd say no.

Opinions are highly secondary to requirements, what does your owner's manual say is required as a specification or approval? Does this oil have have that specification or approval? If it does, then an opinion is warranted after that. If it does not then an opinion is not warranted.

Oil selection should not be based on an opinion as primary.
