Why when looking at the front of my Chevelle do the front tires sometime seemed to be pitched outward at the bottom like the front is squatting. Other times everything looks fine. I understand caster and camber but since its not a consistent look I have some concern. Front end was rebuilt and aligned some time ago and she appears to be running true with no weird tire wear yet.

I think it's normal....my 68 Lemans was the same way. Can you post a picture of your car. The 70 Chevelle SS is my favorite.

Here you go. I am a little technically challenged when it comes to adding photos! LOL

That is a nice car. It was nice at the time, and it still is.

Some old cars weren't especially nice at the time - and they haven't improved with age
Yah I had a few in the day mostly Fords

Upper control arm bushings are notorious for failure on all A-Bodies, Especially big block cars.
I also recommend Offset control arm shafts for these cars......Moog part# K5250 which includes bushings.

CLine beat me to it. Put it on an alignment rack. Camber is noticeable with the naked eye. I'll post up alignment specs.
