I have a 08 Buell Ulysses ( xb12xt) which has the Harley sportster based 1203CC lighting motor in it. The oil specs are 20w-50 below 60 degrees, 50WT above 60 degrees and 60Wt above 80 degrees.

Being in MN I've just been running Mobil 1 V-twin 20w-50 which it seems to do fine on. Just curious on what others run in their bigger air cooled engines.

Highest-mileage HD I have ever seen is a 80ci EVO-powered Electraglide that has seen nothing but 15W-40 HDEO (Rotella or Delo) since 10K miles. It has 230,000 miles.

I use both Mystik JT8 15w50 syn blend and M1 15w-50 in my 2009 103" TC. Have been for years.

There is no moly in Liqui Moly... but even if it did the additive moly
is not a problem because moly will not cause a wet clutch to slip...
mileage is the constant among all of the clutches that begin to
slip... oil choice whether JASO approved or not is not a constant...
High mileage is the constant where all clutches begin to loose grip
due to normal glazing and contaminates that build up during use...
