Valvoline Premium Blue 8600 ES 15W40

Good afternoon folks. Spotted this morning at Rural King. Anyone know what exactly this is? Its CK4/SN rated and meets a lot of specs.

Someone posted a UOA of it and it had really good results in an Ecoboost 3.5.

Looks like a good dual rated oil.

This oil is same price as regular Premium Blue. Tempted to do a VOA on it since we dont know what 8600 ES means yet

I think it has replaced regular Premium Blue 15W40, it is approved under certain conditions for a 10K mile drain extension by Cummins. The ES usually means "extended service" in Cummins/Fleetguard-"speak".
