Just changed the oil in the Corvette yesterday, it was M1 ESP Formula 5w30 with 7400 miles on it and a NAPA Gold filter. I put the same back in again (I still have enough of the original ESP Formula 5w30 for 5 more oil changes!)

FWIW the oil life monitor was at 2% and the average MPG for the OCI was 24.2.

Should be good for 10k or when OLM says to change. May go two changes on cartridge filter.

Why 0w40 when 0w20 in previous change? My Caravan is quiet at 100 degree days with city driving as well as over 70 mph drive to New Orleans then stop and go and quick acceleration on interstate.

I honestly just wanted to try something different, I don't have a real reason other than they both get driven pretty hard. I will say, the 0w40 seemingly has quieted down both engines compared to the 0w20 and 5w20.
