Marking on AC Delco oil filter

On the bottom of the Ac Delco oil filter there are a series of numbers. Numbers on some I have are 19148Y 00:94 and 17135ES 09:06.

Ac Delco is no help. What do those numbers mean or stand for?

Yep, my guess would be the first two numbers are the year, and the three next numbers are the day of the year (ie, xxx of 365).

They sure look like date codes. Agree with Z06, first two digits year, Julian calendar day, last three.

17135ES is likely the 135th day of 2017
