I dont know and I believe it not... literally (for noteworthy boost a uiptime. But you can self make SiO² on wax.
Use FinishKare Hi-Temp on stripped paint (ipa). Of course, like a detailer
Give it 24h (min.) or 48h (max.)... repose, and wipe it wet with Dodo Future Armour.
Its like wet dust wipe of furniture. Do it on cloth, wipe with wet side, wipe dry, with dry side. Done.
Suffices for 3-4 months. Wash with your mildest cleaner/shampoo and swill with waterblasting. You need not dry it. Leave the water evaporte. Samey.
After 4 months wipe again with Dodo.
Hi-Temp can be retrived after ~2 years. In this time, you have 8x wipe your car with wet (dodo) cloth and your car looks day for day much more groomed than 90% of cars on the street. Acceptable solution for me.
I wash my cars every 14 days. Thats good enough.

It is probably the abrasive blended into the wax. Most car waxes have abrasive formulated into them to remove oxidized paint.

No, they don't, and SiO2 is not an abrasive.

Sorry, but yes and yes.
Not all car waxes contain abrasive, but many do. And SiO2 is the chief component of sand.
