"Highway" tire for '05 Ranger FX4 pick-up.

I have Michelin LTX MS/2s on my '06 Ranger and they've been excellent. I used to have the OEM Goodyear Wrangler RT/S and they were fine in dry weather, absolutely horrible in the rain and snow. I also have the 5-spoke wheels and mine are also corroding around the centers like yours.

I also have Michelin Defender LTXs on my Sienna and they're great tires as well.

The last set of tires I put on my 2001 Ranger (4x4 with Off Road package) was the cooper Discoverer AT-3 and I loved them, they were a great tire for the money. If I still drove a truck I'd absolutely buy them again. They were pretty quiet for an AT tire, had a smoothe ride and were great in rain and snow
