Looks like it help up just fine.

basic Purolator tech/build

Have not heard of one of these (or the same size 3600/FL400) of having any tearing issues.

Yes it was MC Blend 5/20 arrived Blackstone today.

It's where the media ends are bonded together and looks normal.

Otherwise it looks like your typical mid grade filter. I don't know why so many Ford guys swear by them just because they are Motorcraft. There are tons of equal and greater filters including from Purolator's own lines.

Not hardly. Spend some quality time seeing the hundreds of "made by Purolator" filters I've cut open that were torn or endcaps fell off. Purolator quality sucks.

Only reason I'll use the 2 Bosch d+ is their build quality is "supposed " to be good
