Not sure where to post this but...what is Marvel Mystery Oil for?

Aside from what the label says, it's a high viscosity lubricant with mild solvent properties. And it's dirt cheap in the 1gl jug. (how much is a couple oz of 3 in 1?)... If you can't think of any uses for something like this, than you probably don't need it and should give it away to someone who can.

That would come in handy in case a big truck starts chasing you.

Especially if you're Dennis Weaver about 45 years ago

how hard would it be to DIY one of those..( i know they're only like $60, but...I like making things)
would it work for tcw3? in place of dosing 1 oz /5gal fuel?

It looks like a pretty simple device: a jar, a hose clamps and a brass tap.

I like the convenience of it as well. For me I am not much more than a remove and replace type, I admire people who can build such things on their own.

Here is the website: http://www.ampcolubes.com/

There are some great shots in the gallery and detailed pictures of the devices.

Seems they've added something about direct injection, etc and a good explanation of what it does with the MMO.

We don't really know but here is a thorough analysis from a few years ago:
