Post your latest oil change

In: Mobil 1 AP 0w20, Mobil 1 filter. I'm planning on 5k, but may go longer.

$12 rebate on the M1 AP oil, so 25 bucks for 5 quarts, and the M1 filter was $4 on clearance at Walmart.

Well you saved a ton of money over the Stealership purge and fill on the transmission didn't you.

That's a lot of idle engine hours. My 2005 Silverado work truck has almost 200k miles and well over 8000 engine hours. It spends a lot of time idling with AC or heat on, most of its life working for our land surveying company.

The LML is my dads truck, It's a farm truck that does a lot of low speed driving and short trips. It does have some idling mixed in here and there, but the majority of the hours are from the low speed driving. I've been just following the OLM but I feel like it's going a little too long given the use it sees. I might do a UOA sometime after running the OLM to 0% and see what it looks like.

Some of the 2019 L5P Duramax's were having OLM problems (counting down too quickly) and the bulletin below is the recommendation from GM. 7,500 miles, 300 engine hours, or once per year.

2013 civic ex 5spd. QSUD 0W20 and orange cod 7317.
Out: Castrol edge 0W20 and Mahle filter.
I've had good results with all of the above.
Before this, I tried Supertech 0W16 as an experiment and it worked great, improving mpg by 1.3! No metal shavings on my magnetic drain plug and no abnormal oil burning off. Will do again on next change!

1972 Dodge Polara
1973 440, second oil change after freshen up
awhile back, has mild Mopar Performance flat tappet cam and matching valve springs

Out: Mobil Delvac 15w40, old white/blue Purolator from their good reputation era

In:
-3 quarts of 18 year old NOS SJ pre-Brad Penn green dyed Kendall GT1 SAE 40
-3 quarts of SM Formula Shell 5w20 to thin it a bit
-1 pint of SLOB additive to help the FS

Maybe I'm crazy for doing this but have done it many times before with no issues. In the end, it's close enough to 30 weight.....

2010 F-150 5.4L 3v V8, ~42,000 miles on truck, 5,000 mile OCI

Out: Unknown Dealer Oil, Motorcraft Fl-820s Filter
In: 5 Quarts Castrol Magnatec 5w-20 and 2 Quarts Pennzoil Platinum 5w-20, NAPA Gold 1372

On most vehicles I run a 5,000 mile conventional oil OCI, but with this truck I believe Ford recommends a 5,000 mile OCI when using a synthetic oil. I usually do 7,500 miles with a synthetic, but I will stick to what Ford recommends because the 5.4L 3v are known for engine issues. If this were my own truck I would use 5w-30.

2018 KIA Sportage LX AWD

Out: EDGE 5W-30, PH9688
In: PP 5W-20, PH9688

Drove to the Keys today. A total of 300 miles. I must admit, I understand the fervor for PP now. This is by far the quietest, smoothest oil I've used yet.
