For no reason other than a little fun I'm going to fit a Baldwin B50 to my Mondeo ST with a Duratec 30.

What size orifice would be a good starting point? And what or where are we getting the orifices from?

There's a few bungs in the engine block, I was going to use one for the oil supply and return to the sump or rocker cover.

I always used a 0.032 orifice for bypass filters. Enough flow without reducing oil pressure.

What are we using as restrictors? I'm considering getting a but of 5/8th threaded bar, cutting it down and drilling a 0.032" hole through the centre of it and using it as a male to male coupler of sorts.

What does the B50 come with for oil control? And do you have room for the B164 or is that to long?

Get a copper .035" MIG welding tip (1/4" x 20 threads)

Cut it shorter (as needed) to allow for desired flow rate.

The hole in these is about .065", it's relatively big
