STP Filters

I haven't seen much on the STP oil filters specifically the XL or ML. Are they any good ?

Supposedly the XL is rated for 10k and 99% efficiency at >20 micron.

I have a post with one cut open along with a Wix and Purolator Boss for comparison purposes. It held up great for a normal interval. Silicon ADB felt a lil cheap but I'd use it again. No collapsing, tearing or anything unusual.

I use the S373 2qt filter on my 83 Silverado.

Recent check in local AZs shows now all STP tiers (Blue/XL/ML) made by a manufacturer with China coo. That includes the ML which was made by Puro US, but locally now has only several applications on shelf and appear as though 'perhaps' not far from being discontinued.

That being the case some information in links posted above, no longer applicable.

I've run the blue one and the XL on my mom's Honda Element. Both held up fine.
