Does anyone know what the differences are between the ph8170 and the ph8172. Just got a ph8170 for my John Deere lt155, and I see both filters listed for a replacement for the AM125424.

You can use a 3614 or 3600 instead of the 8170 or 8172...
3614 - 3.430 height
3600 - 4.922
3614 - 3.430 height
3600 - 4.922
Or Wix 1516 / Napa Gold 31516 & 51516
