Eleven years ago I took delivery of a 2008 Chev Suburban and installed a Stampede brand wind deflector. The guy at the parts counter recommended it instead of the GM wind deflector. It lasted eleven years before the plastic finally let go at one of the mounts. It went through temp variations of -35 C to plus 35 C, took a few bird hits as well as well as plenty of rock hits. I also scraped plenty of grasshopper meat off it.
I ordered up another Stampede brand wind deflector from Rock Auto for about $60 US plus shipping. It was a direct bolt in and I can say it's beefier than the old one. Stampede makes good wind deflectors.
