As cheap as you're going to find Pennzoil without a rebate.

I know mobil 1 takes walmart reciepts for the rebate even though they say they dont.

Does the same hold true for Penzoil?

I'm wondering how this compares to Mobil-1 EP in terms of performance and longevity. Anyone have any numbers?

Good question. This current rebate (running through the end of the year) only lists farm and ranch stores, that's why I haven't done this rebate. $10 off $19.99 for Ultra would be hard to pass up... even if I don't technically *need* it right now.😉

Anyone submitted a non F & R receipt under this current rebate offer and had it go through? If so, what was the retailer?

Not if ordered through walmart.com ... they've never accepted one yet

So far the Pennzoil track record has not been good for me only 1 rebate out of three. They even tried telling me I applied on the wrong website. If I did how did they ever even know where to send that little rebate denial card? I no longer buy Pennzoil unless its under $20 before rebate.

If the retailer isn't on the approved list, you're taking a chance. Period.

Can you even proceed on their website without selecting an approved retailer in the drop down menu?

I had a WM receipt approved but it was for the previous rebate and not this current one.

I was speaking in general.. and yes, some promos allow you to type in the name of the retailer. (I've heard of ppl just select one and let the processing ctr "fix" it.. pretty risky IMO)

I guess that's certainly one way to do it. Tempted to try it...the rebate isn't a make or break type thing. Too bad about it in general...the last time I sent in a rebate, I had the check in like two or three weeks I think it was.
