Bah, rubbish internet today, must have rained...
Came back from the shops yesterday and thought I'd see what was left of the old Colliery...plus wife had seen a guy drive up and dump illegally earlier in the morning...garden waste.
that's how close to home, there's a creek runs between the two rows of houses.
Some foundations from the place Note it was operational 100 years ago.
This was a brick lined dugout for something...no concrete around it, so unlikely machine footings...
This earth work (saddle shape) looks interesting, not sure how to get there legally...will work on it another day. But it's not in the old photos.
