Just got a set of four Michelin Premier A/S's mounted. Went with the H rated ones and was pleasantly surprised to find a $50 rebate on them. $50 up and including 17", $100 for 18" and up. The rebate is good for other models as well. Good till Sept. 21 or so.

Just put the friggin' Maxlife in and be done with it!

These start with less tread depth and have worn very quickly for us on our FXT. Other than that, no complaints.

I have a set on the Sonata and pretty much the same experience. I'm at 40K miles and at the last tire rotation the nice people at Discount Tire suggested that I maybe due for replacements soon.

Wow I didn't know companies started to do this. I checked a few sizes and its 8.5/32nds, usually its 10/32nd for most tires?

Unfortunately reduced new tire tread death seems to be becoming a standard, just like toilet paper went from 4.5 inch wide rolls to 4 inch wide rolls several years ago, and decades after the standard package of coffee slipped from 16 oz. (1 lb.) to 12, 11, 10, 9 .....

Ticks me off.
