Don't know if this has been posted but all Havoline Smart Change (6qt) boxes appear to be on rollback at Wally's. ($1 less).. making a good deal better.πŸ˜‰

This is the kind of thing that makes me wish I didn't have two years worth of oil stashed away. I want to try this oil but have no practical reason to when I have perfectly good name brand oil already. I would just buy the smart box anyway, but my need to hoard oil went away without explanation. I'll try it when the price is higher in a couple of years.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.. I'm kinda in the same boat. I'm trying real hard not to pull the trigger on a purchase.πŸ˜‰

I have not desire to buy an oil at this price with my stash.
Good oil, yes, but not when I have almost 100 qts that cost me $1.25 each.

I do like the 6 qt container. Smart move on their part with so many vehicles needing 6 qts now days.

Yeah, my stash is high thanks to autozone blowing out HDEO's dirt cheap. And I got both rebates for the 5gal rotella t6 smile

Ppl who have stashes more than likely built them on the back of mfgs rebates. But for those that don't do rebates and who are eyeballing an oc soon.. this is a good buy for off the shelf. I've never ran the ProDS (the SB I have, it has high moly), so I'm thinking of picking up a box just for the heck of it. At 6qts it fits my sump just perfectly...but yeah, lord knows I don't *need* it.πŸ˜‚

I never found any end-of-year clearance oils at AZ last year so my stash is getting depleted, only enough oil for 3-4 more changes. I'll probably pick a couple of these up, the 6 quart is nice, 5 quarts to fill any of my vehicles and a quart for top-up. Thanks for the heads up.

Just ordered a pair, free shipping and will be here in three days. Time to spare for one of my cars OCI. 6 qt's, beats 5 of SuperTech.

Just put the friggin' Maxlife in and be done with it!

I agree, if you are in need of buying some oil now and not wanting to search for deals, rebates and such, this is a great deal.
ST syn is $3.49/qt is the 5 qt jug, Havoline Syn is $3.16/qt in the 6 qt box.
Only thing I think is cheaper is Harvest King Syn ($2.80/qt in the 5 qt jug) at Rural King, but Rural King is not everywhere like Walmart is.

Thanks for the find, OP. I just ordered a box of 0w20 for my daughter's Renegade. I like the box and the fact it is 6 quarts. It makes for a nice stackable way to keep a stash.

Exactly and no rebate hassles.. and at this price it works out cheaper than even Wally's house brand, can't beat that.

That's the nice part about buying from Wally's; having it delivered right to your front door. I generally can't stand stores and waiting in line...my closest Wally's service dept is slower than molasses. There's been times I've put my stuff down and walked out... I'm sure they recognize me by now and do it just to eff' with me!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ πŸ˜«

Quick question. Why on earth does Havoline seem to be looked down upon all of a sudden on Bitog? I don't see anything in UOA's or the TDS that points to anything other than great oil.

Anybody know why it has moved to the dog house?

I'm looking forward to running it at some point. In fact, I may just order another box or two at this price for a stash. When I do run it, I'll be doing a UOA along with it.
