Looks similar to a couple of Craftsmen screwdrivers my (no deceased) father-in-law bought me not long after I married his daughter. That was 27 years ago and they are still in great shape.

I bought a set of these a couple of years ago. Stripped the head on one of the Phillip's screwdrivers on the second screw I used it on.
IMO these are cheap Chinese junk.

I went with insertable tips for nearly all my screwdrivers. They never wear out. I've been using the same tip for 30 years. They are Rockwell "C" 62 hardness. I think regular screwdrivers are something like 35 HRC.

Link to such tools? I’d like something like that.

I bought mine 30 years ago at Kitt's Surplus in Detroit. It's a wholesale close-out store with very inexpensive tools... sometimes good ones. I've since amassed around 100 different bits, including many different Phillips, slotted, square, hex, and torx.

A once respectable store which is now run by a greedy, ignorant individual who will eventually run this company further into the ground.

I have a hard time believing that? I have a couple sets of these same screwdrivers and they hold up well and grip the screws better than anything I have.
