Why are you carrying out an Independent Lab Result /oil analysis / at the next oil change (in a few months) IF YOU Put Amsoil in it and forget it ??

Do you need to remember anything else ??

How do you like your Mazda CX5 and how do you see the whole Extended Drain argument (for that 2.5L engine)?
 
Amsoil is not the "holy water of all engines"

There are plenty of engines that Amsoil wouldnt be ideal for.

Mazda RX Wankels come to mind.

I use the OLM on my cars using Pennzoil or Quaker State or any other good named brand oil that is on sale, I recycle the oil and have never had an engine oil related failure in any car I have ever owned since I got my licence (over 30 years)

Put in any good oil at regularly maintained intervals and forget it.

Good for you...
