Thanks BD for the Mag Hytec recommendation. A little out of my budget right now, plus I don't want to get into modifying trans support and need to make sure all this is going to work once put back in service.
I had dealer order second pan...still the same, so I went to work on the 1st new dealer pan. Used a straight edge and the pan was pretty warped, so I started straightening it out with a body hammer and block (All those years of doing body work on rusted cars as a kid paying off).
Then I filed the ridges off the bolt holes and feathered down the ridges on the corners. Followed up with 220.
At this point, I might use Hylomar M on the pan surface to seal sanding marks, fill remaining voids at corner creases and seal exposed steel to prevent rusting.
