Bought these in 245 70r16 two weeks ago, 1000 km on them at the moment. Tried them in the mud, rocks ( in dry weather) and tarmac. Performed beyond my expectation. They do move a bit during fast road cornering compared to the previous set of Bridgestone Dueler At 694, but that is to be expected being a much more aggressive tyre than the Duelers. Duelers were wider and taller (265 70r16), maybe that contributed to the better road manners. Hopefully they will age well.

What vehicle did you put them on? I use a similar tire to the Maxx, Toyo CT and Nitto EXO. The Cooper Maxx does not have the 3PMS winter rating that we need.

2017 2500 GMC 265/70/17 CT
2013 1500 GMC 275/60/20 EXO
2018 3500 Chev 275/65/20 EXO
2011 2500 GMC 285/75/18 Toyo AT II
2011 2500 GMC 25% left, 275/65/20 Hankook RW-11

like the Maxx, all 3 ply sidewall.

I quite enjoyed the Cooper RTX mounted on our Tundra a few years back. A sleeper tire at less cost. Handled well, AT traction was legit, soft rubber was pleasant when the roads were wet. They did start to cup in mid-life, but for all the other positives it was not a problem.

Glad you like the Discoverer S/T Maxx, so far. You will want to cross-rotate them frequently (every 5k to 6k miles) to keep the noise level low. The highly sweeping groove across the pattern that provides great traction and low noise makes the tread blocks more sensitive to heal toe wear, which will increase the tire noise. Rotate in a "X" pattern, regardless of what your vehicle recommends for a rotation pattern.

Great tyre for certain. Friend have them on a 02 GC 2.7 for over a year, he's really pleased with them so I followed him recommendation.
Thanks for the rotation tip, will do as you suggested, I have to admit I haven't rotate tyres for years, somehow it isn't a thing here.
