I would use the appropriate grade in any vehicle it met the spec for without a second thought.

I understood.

Honda oil is what, API SN? Is that what your other cars require? If so then it is an appropriate oil. If not then it isn't.

Why would Honda brand oil be any worse then the oil you are using now?

How cheap are we talking? $6 a litre for full synthetic isn't hard to find every day at CT, is it significantly cheaper than that?

Honda oil is made by one of the majors. it has to be a better deal than what is avaialble from walmart with rebates to be a good deal,

if you can get it for under $18 for 5qt jug for synthetic you are doing good,

You may not.

Depends on what you are paying. I'll bet you it's superior to bulk oil, but inferior to Edge/M1.

You would be crazy NOT to run a solid oil with a Honda sticker on it for a reduced price if it meets whatever spec your vehicles require. It's as easy as that.

It may be just as good depends on grade and duty cycle.

just under $5/Liter..5W30 Honda Full Synthetic ... similar label snd bottle to this... im not sure if its SN+ however

honda oil

It certainly would work fine. However, for those who worry about seeing a Motorcraft spec on the bottle for the newer Ford, I would gather the Honda oil doesn't carry it. It certainly would meet it and be suitable for use.
