6000 miles on oil, driving daily in spring/summer/fall, but i believe in the 'ol italian tune up so the ketchup was seen often. somewhere between 1-2k miles was highway, rest is city. car gets put away during winter w/o change before or after. oil was in use for ~13 months.

I think there is much more fuel in here than 1%.

I did take the sample cold though, car sat for 2 days before oil change, so that could definitely be it.

I don't understand what you mean, what would sitting have to do with it? A change in flashpoint is generally only due to fuel. Do you think that fuel is leaking into the oil while the car is sitting?

blackstones website says that if you take a sample without driving beforehand they may find a higher fuel content. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
