Agreed, everything in moderation.
However, I have cured my hangovers by no longer drinking.

Bingo! We have a winner.

A lot of my friends, like myself, enjoy a few beers.....it's a lot better than being 'medicated' like a large percentage of the country currently are... As long as I'm not driving or affecting my family in a negative way....I see no problem....

I know people who rail against 'drinking' and yet they take their 'pills' every day....

As Oscar Wilde once said: "Everything in moderation, including moderation."

I find the key to avoiding one is to consume alcohol earlier in the evening/afternoon. That way you have lots of time to:
1. Enjoy the effects of the alcohol
2. Recover from those affects.
By bedtime, you are fully sober and can enjoy a good night's rest with no hangover the next day.

I'd think the contraption pictured is for facial tightening.

In the "classic" movie, 'Mommy Dearest', Joan Crawford buries her face in a large bowl of ice cubes before going to the studio.

I'm really torn between:

1) Drinking is borrowing fun from tomorrow

and

2) Dean Martin's saying: "I feel bad for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day."

When I was young and in my drinking days, I used to swear by AlkaSeltzer. The tricky part was remembering to take it before crashing out. It also worked pretty well the morning after. Do they even make that stuff anymore?

The hangover mask was indeed invented by "Max Factor"

The origin of Alka Seltzer??? (is it just me or do these ads seem to depict women only?)
