None of the local stores have had plain old apple cider vinegar on the shelf for a couple months now...plenty of Bragg's, and the boucoo expensive brands, but non of the regular cheap stuff...

I can't seem to find anything on the internet aside from a Facebook post from a member of the Bragg family talking of a problem on their supply chain, the they expected to have taken care of back in April....

Can anyone enlighten me?

I bought a bottle at my local supermarket about a week ago and the shelves were stocked at that time. I also was in Restaurant Depot today in Milwaukee and they had cases and cases of the stuff. I don't know what your problem is there.

I just bought some the other day. The store was fully stocked and I had trouble deciding on which one to buy. Must be a local thing to your area.

you read the wrong part of my post.
there's plenty of that stuff.

I'm talking the Cheap store brand/heinz stuff thats been on store shelves for ever, and is used in canning, etc. sold by the gallon, half gallon, and quart.

there's plenty of white vinegar, just no apple cider vinegar.

Nope, I think most of the farmers switched to rice after all the spring flooding.

ha ha
honestly i'm mostly seeing corn this year. almost no soybeans. and most of the farmers couldn't even get their corn in until late June.(fields just too wet.)
some have JUST been harvesting their winter wheat these last 2 weeks.

when my brother in law tried to plant his potoatoes in late may, his tractor got stuck before he even got into the field..when digging it out, he and my nephew said the soil smelled...sour..rotten..fermented...etc.
(our area is naturally a Swamp... criss-crossed with ditches dug in the late 1800's to drain it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Black_Swamp)
